Plug Power Completes 100 MW Electrolyzer Installation at Galp Refinery

Plug Power installed PEM GenEco electrolyzers totaling 100 MW at Galp’s Sines refinery in Portugal, one of Europe’s largest renewable hydrogen projects to cut CO₂ emissions in refining.[2] The system is set to produce up to 15,000 tons of green hydrogen annually, replacing about 20% of the refinery’s prior grey hydrogen use, with commissioning expected soon.[2]
